There is no handyman, plumber, or electrician license in Mexico. However, we strive to provide the most professional, reliable, and high-quality service available in Kino Bay.

8- How will I know how much I will pay? Do you have an hourly rate?
You will always know the cost upfront because we provide a written or emailed estimate for approval before any work begins. We have flat rates for most jobs, and if you need a custom quote, we’re happy to provide one. Our general fees can be found in the "Transparent Pricing" section of this website.

9- How do I schedule a service?
Simply call, text, or email to book an appointment. Phone estimates are free, and I offer in-person consultations if needed.

10- Do you guarantee your work?

At Kino Bay Home Repair, we believe in transparent pricing—no surprises, just honest, reliable service for the good of our customers.

Trip Fee: $35 USD

Applies to all visits or rescheduling by the customer, or if the service is declined or thex property is inaccessible. The fee is waived if you proceed with the service (Except San Germán and Dos Palmas)

Emergency Trip Fee: $75 USD

Applies to after-hours or urgent service calls. This fee is in addition to the cost of the repair.

Minimum Service Fee / General Repairs: $60 USD

Covers work that takes under 1 hour (e.g., mounting a mirror, fixing a door latch, Sealing minor leaks or cracks, minor repairs, etc). The fee is agreed upon before scheduling.

Appliance Diagnostics: $60 USD

Includes troubleshooting, identifying issues, and providing a repair quote.

Minisplit Maintenance Service (Non-Inverter Units): $50 USD per unit
Standard maintenance to keep your minisplit running efficiently. Comes with a 15-day written warranty.

Minisplit Maintenance Service (Inverter Units): $75 USD per unit
 Specialized maintenance for inverter models. Comes with a 15-day written warranty.

Minisplit Standard Basic Installation (New installs come with a 30-day written warranty.)

1 Ton (12,000 BTU): $150 USD

1.5 Ton (18,000 BTU): $175 USD

2 Ton (24,000 BTU): $200 USD


Note: Additional electrical work required for installation will be custom-quoted separately and must be approved before proceeding.

Haul Away and Disposal of Old Minisplit: $35 USD

Change Lock (Door Open, with Key): $60 USD – 
Includes labor and materials, with a standard basic door knob or deadbolt. $100 for a combo knob + deadbolt.

Change Lock (Door Closed, Lost Key, Cannot Open): $100 USD
 – Includes labor and materials, with a standard basic knob or deadbolt. $150 USD for a combo knob + deadbolt.

Weather Stripping a Door: $50 USD per Door – 
Includes installation and materials, with 1 basic door sweep and weather strip.

💧 PLUMBING SERVICES

Kitchen Faucet Replacement – $150

Includes installation labor, a basic kitchen faucet, new supply hoses, and angle stop valve replacements. Standard faucet included, or upgrade to a premium model for an additional cost.

Toilet Replacement – $350

Includes a new standard basic toilet, removal and disposal of the old unit, professional installation, and replacement of the wax ring, supply hoses, and shut-off valve. Additional costs may apply for upgraded models or unexpected plumbing repairs.

Includes setup and secure roof mounting of your Starlink dish. Pricing depends on the height of the house and the complexity of mounting the antenna. The final cost will be determined upon arrival and assessment of the property.

Service visit to assist with plan changes, transfers, or cancellations. $75 USD for Dos Palmas or San German.
